Salamandra, the Spanish publisher (recently acquired by Penguin Random House), will publish a celebratory "special limited edition" of the first Harry Potter book in Spanish: Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal, for its 25th anniversary (the book was published in 1998 by Emecé Editores in Argentina, and in 1999 by Emecé España in Europe).
This new edition (in hardback) will include new content and never-seen-before illustrations by J.K. Rowling according to the publisher. My personal opinion (without inside knowledge) is that the illustrations are the ones that Bloomsbruy included in their 25th anniversary last year (Diagon Alley and Peeves, for example), and Salamandra means "never-seen-before" in their market (Spain and Latin America). We will have to wait a few weeks, since the book is going to be published by the end of the month.
